Our design and technology curriculum will excite and enthuse our children to ask questions such as “Why does this happen?” and “How does this work?”.
It will inspire our learners to want to know more through creating opportunities to think things through and experiment with a range of structures, mechanisms, electrical systems, food products and textiles. Aspirational skills will be taught to develop our young children’s minds to help them to develop into the chefs, architects, designers and engineers of the future. At All Saints, we encourage our children to learn to think and intervene creatively to solve problems, both as individuals and as members of a team. The children are given opportunities to reflect upon and evaluate past and present design technology, its uses and its effectiveness and are encouraged to become innovators and risk-takers.
